Peggy Joyce Nelson Turner passed away on Christmas Day, 2017 in West Jordan, Utah. Peggy was born February 28, 1938, in Salt Lake City, Utah to Phillip Wendell Nelson and Charlotte Stevenson Nelson. Peggy married Ronald N. Turner December 16, 1977 in the Salt Lake Temple. They just celebrated their 40th Wedding Anniversary.
Peggy is survived and missed dearly by her loving husband Ron, stepmother Pearl Nelson, daughter Lori Decker (Mitch), son Kevin Kilpatrick (Debbie), her grandchildren Joshua, Michelle, Daniel, Nathan, Rebecca, Heather, Cheryl, Mindy, Jayson, and Kaylee, her great-grandchildren Joseph, Lilly, Collin, Samantha, Adalee, Logan, Katie, Brinnley, Audrey, Caleb, Annie, Hannah, Megan, Aiden, Kayla and Joseph, and her siblings Phil Nelson, Earl Nelson, Pam Gardiol, and Rand Sagers.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 30, 2017, at the Garden Cove Ward LDS Chapel located at 1945 West 9000 South, West Jordan, Utah. There will be a viewing from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Friday evening, December 29, 2017 and again Saturday morning from 10:00 – 10:45 a.m. prior to the service.
She will be laid to rest in the Salt Lake City Cemetery beside her parents, her brother Val Steven and her daughter Lana.

Ron, we are so sorry to hear about the passing of Peggy. We didn’t hear about it until after the funeral. Please accept our condolences. She was a beautiful woman and person.
With love and sympathy to her family and friends. I remember Peggy from long ago days in Rose Park and West High. What a fun person to know and pal around with. Wish we had kept in touch!
