Mike graduated from Woods Cross High, class of 1989. Mike married the love of his life Tammy Gunnett and they created their wonderful family. Nothing put a smile on Mikes face more than his kids (including gaming online with them), Little Ceasars Pizza, Dr. Pepper, sports, and his beautiful wife. Mike was a big kid at heart and his family was his life. The love between Mike and his mom was like no other.

Mike is survived by his wife Tammy and their children Tiffany, Michaele (Cody), his only son Marcus Grant (Kaya), Hannah, Hailey and Jessica; his mother Diane, his brother Kirk (Pam) and his sisters Debbie (Simon) and Sandy (David) and his nieces and nephews. Mike is preceded in death by his sister Shelly, his father Merlin and his nephew Jeff.

There will be a Celebration of Mike’s Life on Saturday October 28, 2017 4-6 pm at Deseret Mortuary 36 East 700 South in Salt Lake.

In lieu of flowers an account has been set up at Wells Fargo Bank under the Mike Johnson Family Benefit fund to assist his family.
