Mary Ellen Valenzuela Candia

Salt Lake City, Utah – Mary Ellen Valenzuela Candia, age 73, passed away on April 5th, 2021. She was born on June 6, 1947 in Mesa, Arizona to Maurico and Josephine Valenzuela.

She married Juan Candia on May 23rd, 1991.

There were many things that Mary loved to do. She enjoyed watching her soaps, cooking, crocheting, making dolls and blankets, and she particularly loved and adored her grandchildren. You could find Mary going to the casinos, playing bingo, dancing, or even just staying home to watch movies.

Mary is survived by her husband, Juan Candia; children, Lorena, Anthony, Patrick, Anna, and Josie.

She was preceded in death by her late husband, Tony Peralta; daughter, Leona Martinez; and her parents, Maurico and Josephine Valenzuela.

Private funeral services for the family will be held on Monday, April 12th, 2021.
