Lyle Harris Wolf

Wolf Lyle H

1946 ~ 2016

Remember me with Joy and laughter. If you remember me with tears and sorrow, don’t remember me at all.

Our loving husband, Dad, grandpa and friend, Lyle Wolf, passed away at Intermountain Medical Center on May 6, 2016, surrounded by family and close friends, due to complications from heart failure which he had been courageously battling for many years.

He was born November 1, 1946 in Kermit, Texas to Herschel and ElsaMae Wolf. He met and married his “pretty lady” Marlene (Kink) Monroe on March 26, 1966. They had two lovely daughters, Chelle and Dani, and went on to raise their family in Murray, Utah. He loved the outdoors, especially camping with family and friends. He also enjoyed golfing and bowling.  He was the Nation’s top Matco Distributor for many years.  He enjoyed serving his customers and getting to know them and made many friends throughout his 27 year career in the tool business .

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Marlene, two daughters, Chelle and Dani (Bobby), two grandchildren, Paige (Nadia) and Dylan (Kaycee) and close friends Brent and Milly Hoar. He is preceded in death by his Mom and Dad, two brothers and one sister.

The family would especially like to thank the heart failure team and CCU nursing staff at Intermountain Medical Center and close friends Brent and Milly Hoar.

Per his wishes, he will be cremated. No funeral services will be held but a celebration of life will be held June 18, 2016 at our adopted family’s home, 8356 South Wayside Drive, Sandy, Utah from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m., casual dress.

Having seen Lyle recently during his Thursday visit to our shop reminds many of us just how quickly things change. I always enjoyed the conversation with Lyle, he was always so upbeat no matter how bad the situation, a true gentleman.
I cant remember how many years we knew one another but well over 20 years, and he was always cordial.
Please accept my deep sympathy for your family at this time of passing.
