Vice President and General Manager
Irene was born and raised in Inkom, a small town in Southeastern Idaho. Inkom is nestled next to a ski hill where she skied in the winter and hiked in the summer. Irene first started in the funeral business when she was about 14 years old. She would play the organ at funerals for a family friend that owned the local funeral home. She loved listening and learning about the wonderful people that she never knew.
Irene attended Ricks College and then Brigham Young University. She married Trent Casper of Driggs, Idaho in 1980. Irene and Trent have 3 children and the most darling 6 grandchildren ever!
Since being married, Irene and Trent have lived in Utah, Atlanta, Phoenix and then back to Utah. They have owned and operated several successful businesses. Several years ago a friend asked Irene if she would like to work for him in his funeral home. It was an easy decision. Her fond memories as a young girl brought her back “home.” It was the right thing to do at the right time. After a few years back in the industry, Irene got a chance to help launch Affordable Funerals and Cremations. Quite simply, she loves helping families in need.
Irene takes care of families as if they were her own. She helps and guides them at a very emotional time to achieve the tribute they desire for their loved one. She believes she has the best job ever. She truly loves what she does and the families she serves.
Irene loves anything music. She sings, plays piano, organ, flute, and dabbles in other instruments as well. She loves reading, speaking and teaching, hiking, gardening, being outdoors and traveling to anywhere. But most of all, she loves being a wife, mother and grandma!

Location Manager, Funeral Director
Morgan was born and raised in Alberta, Canada. He moved to Utah to study electronics at what is now Utah Valley University. He married Ruth Washburn in 1981. Together they have 6 children and now 6 grandchildren. After several years in the computer hardware and then software industry it was time for a change. His kids reminded him that he had always wanted to be a funeral director so he should do that. At age fifty Morgan went back to school. He attended Arapahoe Community College in Colorado in while working full time as a funeral intern. He received his Associate of Applied Science in Mortuary Science.
Morgan enjoys being a funeral director. After working in the funeral business for eight years an opportunity came available to help open up a new office in St. George. Their children helped Morgan and Ruth pack up and sent them off on a new adventure.
Morgan wants to help people. He wants families he meets with to know the options and possibilities they have as they are taking care of a loved one. “I want to remove as much stress as I can from families at a difficult time, helping make the funeral process as easy and comfortable for them as possible”.
Morgan enjoys the outdoors, fishing, hiking, biking, even reading, and working on various projects around the house. Most enjoyable is doing all of these or any activity with his wife, kids, or grandkids.
