TUIFA’ASISINA KOPELANI AUGAPEIPEINAMALIE

April 30 1938 – February 23 2020

Beloved husband of Tupu, Father of Tolai Jnr, Jeffren, Mathew, Edward, Phillip, Maisa,Spencer and father in-law of Jeanette.  Grandfather of Justin & Emily Ann, Marina, Shandee, Cole, Tava’e, Sydney, Isak, Wayland and Jaqei.  Great Grandfather of Trae, Gage, RieLynn, Jordyn, JJ and one on the way…..

Tuifa’asisina Kopelani Pei returned to his heavenly father while surrounded by his family on Sunday 23 February 2020.

Tuifa’asisina Kopelani Pei was born in Satapuala, Samoa and is the oldest of 12 children of Tolai and Gagau-Sau. He was raised as a Methodist and attended the L.D.S.Church College of Pesega in Samoa.  He then moved to American Samoa for further education before moving to Hawaii where he then joined the U.S Navy.

After completing his service with the U.S Navy, Tuifa’asisina Kopelani moved to Los Angeles, where he then met the love of his life Tupu.

Tuifa’asisina Kopelani Pei completed 20 years of service as a temple worker at the Jordan Temple.  Both he and his wife Tupu were also missionary workers for a year and a half.

Tuifa’asisina Kopelani Pei was the most loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather who will be surely missed.

The Family Service will be held at The Granger 11th Ward on 3175 South 3450 West at 7.00pm – 9.00pm on Friday 28th of February 2020.

The Funeral Service will be held at Granger 11th Ward on 3175 South 3450 West at 9.00 am – 11.00 am 29th of February 2020 followed by the burial service at the Memorial Redwood Mortuary and Cemetery.
