Thank you, Deb for your beautiful comment.
Well, Kilene, Heavenly Father keeps his promises, doesn’t he? I am so happy for you! You shared with me a few months ago that in thinking back over your life that there was not a day that goes by without pain. All these years you have never complained once. You realized and looked up to see the blessings that you have had. You have been an example of those that have known you. What do I say as your mother other than I have been so blessed and honored to be your mother here? You have blessed me beyond measure and have taught me so many things. I am going to miss you for so many reasons, I could not possibly name them all. You have never questioned why you had these trials, you always seemed to know. When Dad and I would explain to you how trials refine us to prepare to meet our Savior after this life, you understood it. The quiet love and empathy you have toward others. Your dry sense of humor is like your father’s. The musicals, the plays, the love of sports are some of the many highlights of your life. Your love of our Savior’s Gospel brought you peace so many times throughout your life. You and I would love to discuss Spiritual topics as you and I always wanted to learn together. We loved to share experiences together that few would understand.
The love you have for your nephews and nieces is so treasured. Your brother calling you ‘shorty’. Your sisters and I watched Golden Girls, we would laugh so hard and I think it was Dad that said you cackled when you laughed. You did!
Your time has come to fly, fly like an eagle Kilene, you well deserve it. I love you eternally, your Mama.

Dearest Cheryl, You speak of ways that Kilene reminds you of her father, Ben. The way you describe her love for God, family and others is YOU. What a joy, during the years, that the two of you walked closer to Our Lord. Kilene is missed by so many loving people. I always say, as much as we are deep in pain, it.s better than never had them in your life at all. You and Ben were examples of true love.

Thank you Carol. Kilene taught me so much as a mother. She was much more wise than me. She may argue with that but as mothers we do our best.
