Kenneth Lynn Anderson

Anderson Kenneth Lynn

1955 ~ 2013

Kenneth Lynn Anderson, age 58, passed away November 2, 2013, at his home in Wales, Utah following many health issues.  He was born November 2, 1955, son of June F. and Fonta Tatton Anderson in Price, Utah.

He married Barbara Sadler, had a daughter Natalie, and a precious granddaughter Savanna. They were later divorced and he married Judy Shiozaki, who had two small children whom he helped to raise.  They later divorced.

He graduated from Cyprus High School and earned an associate degree in welding at Salt Lake Community College, then taught welding there and all over.  He served his country proudly in the United States Army.  He was a very compassionate giving person.  He taught many, and shared his talents to help others.

He loved the outdoors, especially gardening, and riding in the mountains. He loved camping, and cooking over a campfire, roasting chicken and other meat on a rotisserie he made of willows.  He was fond of fishing and his favorite place was Nine Mile where he could cast further than anyone. Ken loved animals and rescued a kitten off the freeway. Ken had a special bond with animals. He helped the Wagon Train Pet Rescue. Ken had a soft spot for people in need. Many a Thanksgiving and Christmas there were guests that had no family of their own. Ken also would go to help feed the homeless.

He is survived by his parents, June and Fonta Anderson, his daughter Natalie, his sweetest granddaughter Savanna, step-children Lynisa and Jeff Larson, sibblings Lynn (Joan) Anderson, Scott (Debbie) Anderson, Carla Dawn (Joe) Martinez, Phillip Ray (Kate) Anderson, Lee (Shelly) Anderson, friend and ex-wife Judy Shiozaki, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins and dear friend Bill Carr. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Les and Ruth Anderson and Luther and Mary A. Tatton.

We want to thank all the many doctors, nurses, care persons, and friends for the patience, kindness and the great care they gave Ken, especially Judy for the support, kindness, hard work and great care she provided.

A private Memorial Service for family members is pending.
