My condolences to her family. I met Ilse many years ago way back in Wiesbaden Germany. We were in a LDS young adult group and along with her friend Ursula and had fun doing many activities together. I lost contact with her when she moved to Utah. Now having also having moved here myself noticed her name in the obituaries. I am so sorry to hear she has passed away.
Some of my most treasured moments with Ilse, were those when she lived in my home. We would share stories and experience late at night, in her room. These times were bonding, healing and loving. Much like the early morning of her passing.I was blessed with the sacred opportunity to assist God in the miracle of guiding my eternal sister home.I held her hand, kissed her face and spoke to her in reverence. Encouraging her spirit to move on and find peace with Michael, Trae, Henrike, her mom and all who await her. What a wonderful reunion it is. As we prayed for tender mercies, they were found in her peaceful release to the other side. I love her and will miss her dearly. Julie Mckinney xoxo
I first met Ilse in Germany when she was a sweet and cute five-year old. Then a couple of years ago our paths crossed accidently again. We talked about her family and what had taken place in the years since we had met. Her enthusiasm for life was still evident. I am sorrowed to hear of her passing and extend heartfelf condolences to her family and friends.
Your Mother has touched my life in a way no other could. She was there with her smile and a hug when life seemed unbearable. She felt the pain and sadness that so many of us feel, yet she rose above it never giving up hope. I’m so glad for our belief in eternal families for I know that she is with her loved ones that have passed on. I wish that I would’ve known when her funeral was before it had already passed so that I could’ve been there to hug you all. I pray that your lives can continue with your Mom forever in your heart and as a beacon of light to guide you through the tough times.
I have never seen anyone fight harder and endure more with such strength, dignity, and grace. Her compassion and ability to see the good in all things is truly inspirational! Sending blessings your way Mark, Nicole, and Anthony!
