Dennis was born January 3, 1951 to Ray & Colleen Mietchen. He passed away peacefully August 5, 2015 surrounded by his loving wife & 2 loving sons.
Dennis was the 2nd of 5 children. He married Pamela Holland September 7, 1974 in Elko, Nevada. They have 2 sons, Michael and Jason, who Dennis was extremely proud of. He loved doing anything that involved being with all of his family and many, many friends who were all considered family.
Dennis loved most any outdoor activities. Boating, fishing, hunting, golfing, snowmobiling and the guys trip every year to Nascar in Las Vegas.
Most of all… Dennis loved being a crappaw, Grandpa & Poppa Mow-Mow. His grandkids were the light of his life.
Dennis is preceded in death by his father, Ray and several aunts and uncles. He is survived by his wife of ’41 Years’ Pam aka “Sam”, his sons, Michael & Jason, His daughter-in-laws, Amelia & Jessica, and of course his grandkids, Mason, Brightyn and Emree, His mother Colleen, Siblings &their Spouses: Brent & Rhonda, Gene & Terri, Rick & Sue, Sheryl & Scott, along with several nieces & nephews.
In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Utah Cancer Foundation.
Memorial Service to be on Sunday August 9, 2015 at 4:00pm.

There will be time set aside at the Memorial Service for anyone who would like to share any memories, wild stories and adventures you may have about Dennis.

Dear Pam and family, Cousins and Aunt Colleen,
I am so sorry to hear of our loss.I understand the whole it leaves in your hearts. You are such an incredible family and always an memory of joy and love from all of you. My memories as cousins spending time together with Dennis and others in your family are wonderful.
My thoughts and prayers are with you.
Den was a friend, co-worker, camping and hunting and boating buddy. I consider the Mietchen family part of my family! Den was more like a brother than just a friend. I will miss his smile and his never ending positive attitude.
