Brandyn Wayd Black, age 54, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 30, 2020 at Dixie Regional Medical Center in St George, Utah surrounded by his family and friends. He was born February 20, 1965.
During his teenage years, he enjoyed building kayaks and canoes. He was an Eagle Scout and an Order of the Arrow. He also knew how to ring dance. Brandyn was a medicine man, professional clown, and hair dresser. He was always willing to help people when he could. He loved making people laugh. His laugh and smile could light up a room and was very contagious.
He loved the outdoors including hiking, camping, and simply enjoying the fresh air. He was a great brother and friend to those he met. He was an animal lover and they loved him right back.
Brandyn is survived by his brother; Rhett Black, his sister; Kaurene Black, extended family, and his dog Missy. He was preceded in death by his parents; Duane Rex and Alice Marlene Black, grandparents, a sister, and his aunts and uncles. Brandyn will be missed by those who knew and loved him.
