Cleo Marie Espinoza, our loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Sister, Aunt, Cousin and Friend. Passed away peacefully at home on December 11, 2015 in the year of our lord, surrounded by her loving family. She fought a good fight but in the end lost her battle with cancer. Our mother will be greatly missed by many. She was born in the San Luis Valley in Southern Colorado. She married the love of her life Herman Espinoza, in Taos New Mexico. Thus began a 61 year romance. Mother Leaves behind her husband, Herman, Daughters Eloise (Tommy), Veronica (Juan), Cindy (Alan), Connie (Dan) Angie (Vincent), Sons, Stan (Morgan Jo), Pete (Kim), Jason (Anita) and Pete Vincent (Alysha) , Sisters, Irene Martinez, Georgeann Aguilar, Brother Tony Aguilar. 43 Grand children, 61 Great Grandchildren, and 1 Great Great GrandChild.
She is preceded in Death by Deborah Dolly (Daughter) Sheila King (Granddaughter), Nakoa Espinoza (Grandson), Anthony Espinoza (Grandson), Jacob Espinoza (Grandson), Morgan Jo Stantyn (Daughter in law), Manuel Berela (Brother), Priscilla Aguilar (Sister) Daisy Aguilar (Mother) and Pete Aguilar (Father).
Mom loved life, loved going to yard sales and loved collecting refrigerator magnets. She especially loved having barbecues surrounded by her family and visiting with her friends. In her younger days she loved to sing and dance and play cards especially with her grandchildren. She loved to play Tetris on the nintendo and was serious about winning. She loved listening to gospel music and listening to gospel teachings. She worked in various capacities as a nurse and ward clerk for the LDS hospital and the University of Utah Hospital, and in her later years customer service at variety of department stores. Through those jobs she would find and make new friends in which she found her self in their service whether by babysitting or taking them into her home when they had no place to go. She loved watching her Novella’s and she even managed to get her sweet husband hooked on them as well. She enjoyed reading medical books and books on religion. She enjoyed uplifting positive quotes, Getting on Facebook and connecting with her friends and family. Our mother will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her.
The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Lont at IMC in murray, Her Physician Dr. Roy Gandolfi and her in home nurses. Special thanks to, (Herman),” husband, sons Pete W (Kim), Stan and countless other family members for taking care of Cleo Espinoza night after night during her battle, taking care of her and making sure she ate and made it to her appointments
Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 17, 2015, at 12:00 p.m. at the Granger 14th Ward located at 2131 West 3100 South, West Valley City, Utah. A viewing for the immediate family will be held prior to service at 10:30 a.m. with a public viewing at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow the funeral service at the Riverton City Cemetery, 1500 West 13200 South, Riverton, Utah.

Revelations 21:4 “And he will wipe out every tears from there eyes and death will be no more neither will morning nor outcry nor pain be any more the former things have passed away. “Our precious mother isn’t suffering anymore . Sweet Cleo is finally at peace . My prayers go out to Herman and all of the Esponiza family. I loved Cleo more than words can express . We had so many special times together. I loved her dearly and she will forever be in my heart .
So sorry for the family’s loss!! She was a wonderful lady I remember as a kid I would go over to her house with my dear friend Angie. And she was always so kind, her smile. Was so warm. Now she is with our king Almighty God may he take care of her in his kingdom and if she watch over all her children.
My sweet precious mother now that your gone I will forever have a void in my heart I will miss your smile your jokes your loving ways. My life will never be the same I pray as you watch over me from up above I pray I make you proud, as I am so thankful you were with us as long as you could be you battled a brain tumor,heart diesese, sugar diabetes,lupus and last of all cancer that took you away from us I find comfort knowing you are healthy now free from pain and suffering and now proud to say our guidian Angel gone for now but never forgotten rest in paradise my precious mother

SHE WAS A GOOD WOMAN A hard working woman she took care of her family and she never let anyone get in the way of that O did she love her dogs and she sure let you know if she didn’t like you she had no problem with telling you that lol she was really good to my daughter when my Aunt Kim used to watch my daughter over her house she will forever be missed but she is in a better place than here my condolences go out to the whole Espinoza family expecially my uncle Pete he sure was a mama’s boy from the Martinez family to yours God bless
